Check In Procedure

On the day of arrival, you will go directly to your cabin. Directions have been included with the email. Call the office, 1-855-359-1507, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm EST to pay any remaining balance with a credit/debit card (we do not take cash, as check in is handled over the phone) and to receive the code for the keyless entry on your cabin.


Check Out Procedures

Each renter is responsible for leaving the cabin in order and kitchen clean before checking out. Close and lock all windows and doors. Leave heat at 55 in winter and/or air conditioner at 78 in summer.


PETS ALLOWED WITH PERMISSION ONLY IN SPECIFIC CABINS!!! If you bring a pet without permission, you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given for the remaining balance!


Cancellation Policy


If you cancel before the 30 day mark, you will receive a full refund.


If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit your deposit and are responsible for all nights booked unless we can rebook the days you reserved.



Note: Cancellations can only be made over the phone, not through email or any other means. Also, if you do not arrive on your scheduled date and do not give the Timberwinds Staff any notice of such event, you will be charged the full amount of your stay regardless of whether or not you stayed in the cabin.


Reservation Notes

Fireplaces are open from the last weekend in September through April. Kindling wood or starter logs (used for starting the wood burning fireplaces) are not provided and not needed at all for gas fireplaces. Some cabins have access to a Rentals pool. The availability dates and times for each one may vary. Linen and towels provided; however, if cabin has a sleeper sofa, linens for the pullout bed are not provided.


Restrictions:


  1. Amenities Liability Waiver/Hold Harmless Agreement: Please acknowledge that neither the property owner, or management is liable for any “bodily injury, or death” caused as a result of the use of amenities at this rental property, except under pure negligence on the part of the owner or management. Amenities are defined as (Swimming pools, hot tubs/spas, saunas, exercise equipment, small watercraft, bicycles, fire pits, playgrounds, fishing, recreation areas, and similar).

  2. If applicable, guest must stay in the same cabin seven consecutive nights to get the 7th night free.

  3. The accommodation is a privately owned dwelling with the Owner’s furnishings and neither the Agent nor the Owner shall be responsible for providing any additional furnishings. Some owners have locked closets containing personal belongings. These are not included in the rental of the cabin.

  4. An Agent, authorized employee, or repairman may enter the cabin during business hours for any purpose connected with repair, care, or maintenance of the cabin. No appliances, Jacuzzis, hot tub, or heat/air systems are guaranteed, and there will be no refund for failures. We try to keep them in as good working order as possible, and any failures will be fixed as quickly as possible after being reported. No refunds will be made for electrical outages or other acts of God. Any mechanical, electrical, or other malfunction will be repaired as soon as possible within working hours.

  5. As Agents, we reserve the right to refund deposit, refuse admittance, and/or discontinue occupancy if, in our opinion, some is detrimental to the cabin. Please note that we do not give refunds due to insects, wildlife, etc.

  6. Should the cabin be undergoing any major repairs or the owner of the cabin elects to remove his/her property from Timberwinds Log Cabin Rentals Management, the Agency may substitute a comparable cabin at the original price if such a cabin is open, or refund the deposit.

  7. I, the renter, fully understand that the management will not be responsible for accidents or injury of any kind to guest or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. Be sure and check for personal belongings. We are not responsible for items left in cabin.

  8. I, the renter, agree to replace or pay for any loss, breakage, or damage to the cabin and/or amenities to the entire satisfaction of the Owner or his/her Agents.

  9. When registering, be sure you have accurately stated the number of guests in your cabin. Notice: Tennessee Law (T.C.A., Sec.62-7-107) provides that procuring accommodations under false pretense is a crime punishable by fine up to $500 and/or imprisonment up to 90 days.
