Dad Will Love a Trip to the Smokies for Father’s Day

June 20, 2018

What are you getting dad for Father’s Day this year? Another tie? He’s probably got enough of those. Instead, why not give him something that he’s sure to appreciate, like a weekend with the family in one of our many beautiful Smoky Mountain cabins? You’ll find an ideal cabin for dad that’s centrally located near all the things to do in the Smokies, from fishing and hiking to exploring the strip in Pigeon Forge.

Bear Creek Lodge

If you’ll be heading up with the entire family, make Father’s Day super special by booking your stay at Bear Creek Lodge. This three-bedroom, three-bath lodge is stunning and rustic. It’s also one of the largest Smoky Mountain cabins in our inventory. Located in the heart of the mountains, Pigeon Forge is only a short drive away where dad can hit his favorite restaurants, bars and more. However, there’s plenty to enjoy in the cabin, too, from the indoor whirlpool tub to the outdoor hot tub. There’s satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a PS3 with 10 games, and three levels of screened-in porch offering views out over the mountains.

Eagle’s Lodge

Perched high atop a mountain, Eagle’s Lodge is one of the most impressive Smoky Mountain cabins we offer. It features a massive porch from which you can relax and enjoy the mountain views, as well as a unique architectural design. Downstairs, you’ll find a full pool table, and there’s an outdoor hot tub available. Note that this 4BR cabin can actually sleep up to 12 people, so it’s ideal for larger families. Dad can watch the game on the satellite TV, or cook on the gas grill. There’s also wireless Internet included, as well as a PS3 with games included.

Hemlock

Looking for a way to help your husband celebrate Father’s Day, but don’t need a lot of space for other family members? Hemlock is one of the smaller Smoky Mountain cabins available, with a single bedroom and bathroom. However, it features all the modern amenities, including a pool table and hot tub. Note that while this cabin is very close to downtown Gatlinburg, it is located in a remote section of the mountains on an elevated road.

Things to Do in the Smokies

All of our Smoky Mountain cabins put you in a prime position to enjoy all the things to do in the Smokies area. Hiking, fishing, kayaking/canoeing and other outdoor sports are popular, of course, but there’s plenty of other attractions. The strip in Pigeon Forge, exploring downtown Gatlinburg, the rides at Dollywood – these are just a few of the options you’ll enjoy when you book a cabin to help dad celebrate Father’s Day this year.
