2 BR Pigeon Forge Cabins: Up the Creek

August 25, 2017

Take yourself up the creek! Okay, usually, people don’t want to be “up the creek.” That is, of course, unless you’re talking about Pigeon Forge cabins by Timberwinds. In that case, Up the Creek at Timberwinds Log Cabin Resorts is a very good place to be.

Peace and Seclusion for You in Our Pigeon Forge Cabins

Up the Creek is a well-appointed two-bedroom, two-bath Pigeon Forge cabin, tucked amidst the trees and next to a mountain stream. In fact, you can access the stream directly simply by using the private walkway leading off the porch of the cabin.

The overall feel is so peaceful, with the sound of the rushing water, the trill of the birds, and the gentle Smoky Mountain breezes. If you’re in need of some quiet time to just relax with friends and family, and recharge your batteries, Timberwinds’ Pigeon Forge cabins like Up the Creek definitely fit the bill.

Amenities

Up the Creek has everything you need for a relaxing stay. You’ll enjoy central heat and air conditioning so you can be comfortable no matter what time of year you visit, a gas fireplace, and more. High speed Internet is provided, and there are two televisions so there should be no conflict over what to watch. There’s also a DVD player, and if you want to bring along some of your old videotapes to watch, there’s a VCR as well.

The kitchen is very well-equipped, in case you want to dine in, or you can use the gas grill on the deck and dine in the screened-in porch. Other features include a pool table, Playstation 3, hot tub and Jacuzzi. In short, there’s something for everyone in your family. The kids can enjoy video games or movies while the adults enjoy quiet conversation, perhaps sitting out on the deck overlooking nature.

Not Too Far From Town

As previously stated, Up the Creek is secluded. There are cabins for rent in Pigeon Forge, TN that are closer to town, but you will have to drive for a bit if you choose Up the Creek. It’s 7 miles outside of Pigeon Forge, 9.5 miles away from Cades Cove, and 8 miles outside Townsend.

To be sure, none of those are insurmountable distances. So if you want to explore the surrounding communities, it’s a drive of less than half an hour in any direction. You can travel just a short distance to beautiful hiking trails, or if you prefer, head into town for some shopping and perhaps a restaurant meal if you don’t feel like cooking for the whole family.

Book Early

If you’re planning to stay at Up the Creek, or for that matter, any of Timberwinds’ other cabins for rent in Pigeon Forge, TN,  it’s advisable to book as soon as possible. Smoky Mountain cabins in the Gatlinburg, TN area are always in high demand, even in the off season.
